Position Details:

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the marketing initiatives, results, and client communication. You will coordinate and work with a small team of professionals to deliver these services and create amazing results for our clients. You will meet with your clients regularly to progressively improve and manage all aspects of their Internet marketing, including:
- Lead Generation
- Website Design
- Paid Search Engine Marketing
- Paid Social Media Advertising
- Content Development
- Email Marketing
Experience:
Ideal candidates will have at least 3+ years of experience at a digital marketing agency managing multiple accounts. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate an understanding of how to generate leads and sales across multiple advertising platforms.
Skills:
- Critical thinking skills are vital to the success of online marketing managers, in addition to analytical problem-solving skills
- Expert client facing communication skills; must be accustomed to meeting with and leading marketing strategy sessions with clients through conference call software (Google Meets, Zoom, etc.), on a regular basis
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Possess strong interpersonal and project management skills as interaction with clients and presentations will be required frequently
- Must be comfortable with Google Work Space tools (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, etc.)
- Possess an understanding of website development techniques, content management systems, and creative design
- Must be familiar with SEO best practices and some experience managing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn ads etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain your personal computer system
- Must be self-motivated
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain agendas and follow-up reports for client meetings
- Provide project management of marketing initiatives for the client
- Create and maintain timelines and schedules of projects
- Manage client communications over the phone and email
- Develop comprehensive online marketing strategies for clients
- Review, write and optimize website content to ensure both search engine visibility and favorable user experience
- Coordinate and develop regular e-newsletter creation and distribution for clients
- Implement a variety of forms of social media to promote brand recognition and promotions and to drive traffic to company websites
- Track and monitor site traffic and optimize campaigns based on the best-performing strategies
Manage an internal team of specialists; content writers, designers/developers, and advertising specialists.
Work Environment:
EmoryDay has always been a 100% remote company; all of our consultants work from home offices in the United States, and each provides their computers to work from. The opportunity provides a certain amount of flexibility as EmoryDay believes in providing a positive work-life balance environment. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, and rarely is after-hours work required.
Compensation & Benefits:
The annual salary amount is based on experience. For seasoned marketing professionals, there are rapid advancement opportunities from Senior Account Manager into senior management with increased compensation. EmoryDay full-time employees receive a benefits package that includes 15 days of paid time off (PTO), plus one additional PTO day for each year of tenure (up to 5 extra days), a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match, and a health plan with an HSA account.
