Overview
As a Customer Care Coordinator, you will be the heartbeat of our customer service team, ensuring that every interaction is positive and productive. You'll play a vital role in managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing essential administrative support within a dynamic medical or dental office environment. Your expertise in medical terminology and office operations will empower you to deliver exceptional service and foster strong relationships with our clients.
What you'll do
- Manage incoming calls and emails from patients, addressing their inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Schedule appointments efficiently while considering patient needs and office availability.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Assist with billing inquiries and insurance verification to facilitate smooth transactions for our patients.
- Collaborate with medical or dental staff to ensure seamless communication and optimal patient care.
- Provide administrative support by organizing files, managing office supplies, and maintaining a welcoming environment.
- Stay informed about medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients regarding their care.
Basic qualifications
- Experience in a medical or dental office setting is essential for understanding the unique needs of our patients.
Preferred qualifications
- Proficiency in medical terminology to enhance communication with healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
