OneSparQ is looking for an Electrical Engineer for a manufacturing company. This position is located on-site in Memphis, TN.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
  • Experience with new product development
  • 3D modeling experience
  • BSEE or equivalent

Additional:

  • Electrical utilities experience (generation, distribution, and transmission)
  • Power engineering concentration
  • Controls experience, including smart grids
  • SolidWorks or ProE
  • PE license
  • Electrical testing experience (dielectric, high-current, hi-pot, high-voltage, etc.)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects to develop new products
  • Serve as the electrical expert on assigned product lines for both individual and team-based projects
  • Drive new product development (approximately 80%), including detailed component-level design work
  • Prototype and test new parts and concepts
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to transition designs into full production
  • Provide technical support for newly released product lines
  • Deliver technical support to field teams and sales representatives
  • Utilize extensive in-house testing capabilities and electrical test equipment
