Laundromat Attendant

WaveMax is a new, clean, state of the art laundry facility that provides customers with an exceptional customer experience. All our machines are brand new and fully digital. The store also offers a "Wash & Fold" Service. We are looking for customer service oriented attendants to join the team and make this new store a community favorite. The ideal employee will:

• Greet customers
• Assist laundry customers, as needed, with washer/dryer issues, vending machines, laundry app, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness of store, restrooms, and equipment.
• Perform washing, drying, and folding for drop-off customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a friendly atmosphere for customers who do laundry or drop off laundry. Assist customers in a professional, friendly manner.
• Sort laundry items received for washing. Operate washers and dryers to process customer laundry. Neatly fold and bag laundry for customer pick up.
• Maintain cleanliness of store by wiping countertops, machine tops and soap receptacles. Make sure trash is emptied and floor is kept dry and clear of debris.
• Check dryer lint screens for lint and clean lint filters as necessary to maintain optimum efficiency of dryers.
• Make sure bathroom is clean and stocked.
• Report any equipment not working properly to management.
• Handle over-the-counter sales of laundry products (detergent, fabric softener, laundry bags, etc.)
• Wear WaveMax aprons during business hours in store.
• Attend staff meetings, as scheduled.
• Follow all governmental and company guidelines to protect customers and employees from COVID-19 infection.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
