**Overview:** We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a sanitary and efficient kitchen environment. **Duties:** - Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and create innovative menu items - Supervise kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers - Assist in managing inventory levels and controlling food costs - Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations - Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation - Coordinate banquet and catering events as needed - Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities - Support the Head Chef in training and developing kitchen staff **Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a Sous Chef or relevant role in a fast-paced kitchen environment - Strong knowledge of food service management, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations - Familiarity with inventory control, menu planning, and restaurant management - Understanding of food safety standards and procedures - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic kitchen setting - Culinary degree or certification is a plus Join our team as a Sous Chef to showcase your culinary expertise and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
