Hospital Info:

Our Patients are complex. Below are some conditions we treat (keep in mind, our patients may have more than one of these conditions):

  • Strokes, TBI, Spinal Cord injuries, Trauma, Resp Failure, Cardiac Failure, Surgical Complications, non-healing wounds, cardiogenic shock, bowel obstructions, etc…
  • The patients have had extended hospital stays prior to coming to us
  • The average stay in our hospital is 4 – 6 weeks
  • Highest acuity would be those patients on vents with vasoactive drips that we are titrating up.
  • Lowest acuity would be a patient getting 6-8 weeks of IV antibiotics.
  • Typical load is 4-5:1 (you will have patients w/trachs and some on stable vents)
  • High acuity patients will result in a 2-3:1

Requirements:

  • 2 years RN experience required
  • BLS, ACLS required
  • Vent, Trach, Critical Drip experience required
  • Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer date
