Matrix Global is seeking a highly skilled BI developer with a strong focus on Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, particularly in Power BI. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive experience with BI tools to drive strategic initiatives, enhance data visualization, and optimize reporting processes. This role requires a deep understanding of financial regulations and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for key stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 7+ years of Power BI development experience (data modeling, DAX, Power Query, visualization).
  • Hands-on with Power BI Pro and Premium features (workspaces, RLS, incremental refresh).
  • Ability to translate compliance and data requirements into effective dashboards.
  • 5+ years of strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Proven experience in AML / Financial Crime domain (Transaction Monitoring, KYC, Sanctions).

Preferred:

  • Experience with large-scale banking datasets and entity resolution.
  • Knowledge of Python/Spark for data prep or automation.
  • Exposure to dashboard governance and KPI/KRI frameworks.
