Associate Director Informatics

The Associate Director, Informatics coordinates with other analytics, IT and business areas across the organization to ensure work is completed with insights from knowledgeable SMEs. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, and a comprehensive understanding of how organizational capabilities intersect within and across departments.
The Associate Director, Informatics will be responsible for supporting Patient Safety analytics on the Medicare population. The Associate Director is expected to perform and present advanced analytics to various levels of leadership and data literacy. The position leverages both mid- and long-term planning to ensure effective creation, maintenance, and distribution of data assets for all measures across the enterprise. Additional duties involve cross-functional collaboration for outreach initiatives, including study design, vendor management, and marketing. Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities are essential.

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare, Informatics, Computer Science or related field
- 6 or more years of data analytics experience
- 2 or more years of leadership experience with direct reports (Ideally leading a remote team associates)
- Experience with reporting (from dealing with large data sets to report production)
- Experience with data mining, predictive modeling techniques and using data to drive business outcomes and decisions
- Technical proficiency in coding and data visualization tools such as SAS, Python, PowerBI or similar tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information and present findings and insights to non-technical professionals and executive level leadership
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Experience in PQA/NCQA measure analytics
- Knowledge of and/or experience in CMS Stars and/or MTM analytics
- Advanced experience in data mining, forecasting, simulation, and/or predictive modeling

- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone and computer equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$142,300 - $195,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
