About the Role

As a
Product Designer

at BisectHosting, you'll be responsible for creating user-centered designs that improve how gamers interact with our services and platforms. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to design cohesive, visually engaging, and highly functional user experiences.

Your work will span the entire product lifecycle — from research and concept development to design execution and iteration. This role requires a strong eye for detail, empathy for users, and a passion for designing products that simplify complex systems into seamless experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define user needs, design goals, and success metrics.
• Design and iterate on user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and improvements.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Translate complex hosting and gaming workflows into intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging interfaces.
• Work with developers to ensure design intent is executed in implementation.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across platforms and products.
• Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders and gather feedback constructively.
• Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices in UI/UX and visual design.
• Support brand and marketing initiatives with design assets when needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent design tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects and problem-solving processes.
• Understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and responsive design patterns.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and iterate quickly based on feedback.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality design execution.
• Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for gaming, hosting, or tech-related products.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, or basic component systems).
• Experience conducting or synthesizing user research and usability testing.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Passion for gaming, modding, or online community experiences.
• Familiarity with BisectHosting's services or other game server platforms.
