Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering top-notch services. What you'll do

  • Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a seamless flow of operations through effective chairside assisting.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
  • Manage electronic medical records (EMR) using systems like Dentrix and Eaglesoft to ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote their overall health.
  • Support pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients and their families.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and maintaining organized medical records.
  • Collaborate with the dental team on treatment planning for general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and more.

Basic qualifications

  • Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge to communicate effectively with both patients and the dental team.
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices to ensure patient safety.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with medical coding and documentation for comprehensive patient care management.
  • Knowledge of 3D scanning technology for advanced imaging solutions in dental procedures.
  • Previous experience in a dental clinic setting, particularly with pediatric patients.
