Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in field service. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to ensure their systems are operating efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues using schematics and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment.
  • Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Collaborate with other technicians on complex projects or repairs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role with a focus on service technician responsibilities.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with HVAC design principles and ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics related to HVAC systems.
  • Experience in construction or property maintenance is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques may be required for specific tasks.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary for travel to job sites.
