Mold Processor and Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities: (required)

  • understanding plastic injection molding – processing of components, including understanding how process changes affect output dimensions or characteristics of the molded component.
  • ability to assess machine repair needs – such as auxiliary equipment issues, heater band / thermocouple issues, material handling issues.
  • overall mold maintenance (complete tear down of mold - inspection of wear components such as slides, pins, bushings and greasing those wear components.
  • manage communication with external suppliers on mold repairs or other facility needs.
  • managing the company's overall PM system - injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, automation equipment, and overall facilities maintenance.
  • perform in-process inspections (dimensional or functional)

Secondary Responsibilities: (not required but would be helpful - as time allows)

  • assist engineering with executing engineering studies or validations.
  • perform QA inspections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
