Type: Temp-to-hire

Schedule

  • Training: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (approximately 1 month)
  • Regular Schedule: 2nd Shift – 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Position Overview

Our client in Dixon, CA is seeking a reliable and experienced 2nd Shift Forklift Operator to join the team. This position plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by safely operating forklifts to load, unload, move, and stage materials. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-oriented, and ready to grow within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and/or cherry pickers safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trailers, containers, and pallets according to shipping requirements.
  • Move, stage, and organize materials within the warehouse to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
  • Support inbound and outbound operations, ensuring all product movements are completed accurately.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience (sit-down and/or reach).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be available to train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift.
