Project Manager

Rockford Silk Screen is currently seeking a dynamic, client-focused Project Manager to join our team. This role takes a hybrid approach, working collaboratively with both clients and the Sales Team to develop strategic alliances and ensure the successful execution of print and production projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator and relationship builder who ensures every project meets or exceeds client expectations.
Print production knowledge is a plus but not required—we value individuals with strong organizational skills and a passion for client service and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Client-Focused Project Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the project lifecycle, alongside the Sales Team.
- Partner with clients and Sales Representatives to gain a deep understanding of project goals, timelines, and specifications.
- Maintain clear, ongoing communication with clients regarding project progress, approvals, and delivery expectations.
- Address client concerns proactively and work to build long-term, trust-based relationships.
Strategic Sales Partnership
- Collaborate with Sales to support client growth and retention through strategic project execution.
- Join client meetings or calls as needed to translate creative or technical requirements into actionable steps.
- Provide consultative input on production capabilities, feasibility, timelines, and costs to help guide sales proposals and planning.
Cross-Functional Project Management
- Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Estimation, Scheduling, Sourcing, Shipping) to ensure all project details are clearly understood and executed correctly.
- Lead regular internal project meetings to align stakeholders on progress, risks, and key deliverables.
- Act as the bridge between client expectations and production realities, ensuring internal teams have what they need to succeed.
Quality and Process Oversight
- Work with the Quality Team to identify and mitigate potential quality issues.
- Help implement corrective actions and communicate resolution strategies to both clients and internal stakeholders when needed.
Documentation and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate project records in Odoo, including timelines, specifications, and communications.
- Contribute to internal documentation and best practices based on project learnings and client feedback.
- Seek ways to continuously improve client experience and internal workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- 2+ years in Project Management or Client Services role, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing/production setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on relationship-building.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems; proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
- Experience working in Odoo or similar ERP/CRM systems is a plus.
