  • Maintain complete and organized employee files and training documentation in compliance with DFPS and OCOK standards.
  • Track certifications, licenses, and mandatory trainings; send reminders and escalate overdue items as needed.
  • Generate HR reports and summaries to support compliance audits and internal reviews.
  • Support staff communication, scheduling, and meeting documentation.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and audit materials as requested by leadership or the HR Consultant.
  • Provide general office support, ensuring a professional and efficient work environment.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and professionalism in handling all HR and resident information.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in child welfare, healthcare, or behavioral health.
  • Experience coordinating background checks, drug screens, and TB testing strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and data entry skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
  • Experience using HRIS or database systems (Extended Reach, ADP, or similar) preferred.
  • Must possess a valid Texas driver's license and pass all required background checks per DFPS standards.

Essential Skills

  • Data Accuracy & Recordkeeping: Maintains organized and audit-ready HR files and digital records.
