Commercial Vehicle Powertrain & Electrical Troubleshooting Specialist

Join a team where your know-how keeps freight moving. In our Fleet Services division, every accurate diagnosis prevents downtime, every precise repair keeps drivers safe, and every DOT inspection protects the road ahead.

Your mission

Own the full cycle of maintenance and repair for tractors and trailers—diagnose, fix, verify, and return units to service with confidence.

  • Use JPRO, OEM diagnostic software, multimeters, and Windows-based tools to pinpoint and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Deliver consistent preventive maintenance to sustain performance and reliability.
  • Perform DOT inspections in compliance with FMCSA standards.
  • Meet the physical demands of the trade: lift/pull 75 lbs or more, remain on your feet or in a prone position as needed, and access hard-to-reach components safely.
What sets you up for success
  • Active driver's license; Class B capability preferred.
  • Technical/advanced degree or 1–2+ years of equivalent maintenance experience.
  • Comfort with digital diagnostics and electrical testing (JPRO, OEM tools, multimeters, Windows).
  • Track record of problem-solving, teamwork, and clear communication with customers and peers.
  • Participation in an on-site evaluation with recommended training.

Hours, pay, and details

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Average Pay Range: $30 – $32/hr

  • Pay will be determined by experience and certifications.
