Sr. Director, Head of Strategic Accounts

This role is responsible for overseeing, retaining, and growing the National Sales strategy and Inspira's Enterprise recordkeeping business. By working cross-functionally and being a subject matter expert, this position will accelerate the growth of the business and develop strategic relationships and alternative channel partnerships. Additionally, the Sr. Director, Head of Strategic Accounts will help drive the strategy of the Retirement Services sales efforts while modeling Inspira's core values.
- Set, communicate and execute operational strategy and performance measures in line with company, segment, region and market goals
- Ensure achievement of sales, membership growth, retention and profitability goals
- Manage team of senior sales executives
- Manage and track business development efforts nationally and by market
- Contribute as a member of the sales leadership team
- Recruit, train and develop sales executives
- Responsible for overseeing, retaining, and growing Inspira's Enterprise recordkeeping business.
- Lead the closing process for all new Enterprise client relationships.
- Work to cross sell Inspira's products and services to Enterprise Accounts
- Provide leadership to business partners to support growth in the Retirement Services business aligned to the Company's strategic objectives
- Act as an expert and advisor to the team to accelerate growth across all clients and channels
- Partner with Sales, Relationship Managers (RMs), Product Management, and other departments to grow existing relationships, win new business, and evaluate and develop new initiatives
- Work with RMs to establish and achieve goals while expand existing relationships with new opportunities and solutions
- Partner with Company leaders on strategy, market trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing, Technology, Legal, HR, Finance, Operations and Client Service on various projects to help improve the client experience
- Support RMs and Sales staff by attending regular meetings with key client relationships to provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise in managing business relationships
- Analyze past performance data and recommend changes or improvements for better client interaction and growth in profitability
- Model the Company's Values and Behaviors to increase team engagement
- Lead and manage the engagement strategy, including conferences, roundtables, etc. (including external events that Inspira attends, as well as in-house events that Inspira leads and hosts)
- Understand the clients' business environments, strategies, and industry to better determine their requirements, identify potential new business opportunities for Inspira and provide the appropriate solution(s). Achieve and maintain trusted partner status with all enterprise clients

Requirements: Years of Experience:
• 15+ years of experience . Degree:
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Business, Communications, Finance, or related field . Certification: N/A . Skills & Abilities:
• Working knowledge of retirement accounts, the financial services industry, and account management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
- Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines
- Ability to identify, generate, and drive development of new business
- Strong follow-through and follow-up skills
- Proven success in long, complex sales cycles
- Ability to think strategically and create long-term plans
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word (including mail merge) and Outlook
- Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
Req Benefits:
The compensation for this position will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive and bonus opportunities.

Compensation: $170,000-$180,000 per year

Employees within a 90-minute radius of our Oak Brook, IL headquarters are required to adhere to the company in-office work guidelines of 4 days per month minimum from 10 am to 2 pm (1 of the 4 days must be a Monday or Friday).
