Job Summary

As an Electronics Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing electronic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. You will utilize your expertise in computer hardware, schematics, and low voltage systems to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. Your hands-on experience with field service and mechanical knowledge will empower you to deliver exceptional service to our clients while enhancing their operational capabilities.

What you'll do

  • Diagnose and repair electronic equipment using hand tools and diagnostic instruments such as an ohmmeter.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand system layouts and functionalities.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure longevity and peak performance.
  • Provide field service support, addressing client needs promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance computer networking systems for improved connectivity.
  • Document repair processes and maintenance activities for future reference and compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electronics technology.
  • Assist in training junior technicians on best practices in equipment repair and maintenance.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience as a service technician in the electronics field.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with low voltage systems.

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience interpreting schematics for various electronic systems.
  • Background in network setup and maintenance is a plus.
