Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
  • Provide accurate wait times and communicate with guests regarding their seating status.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, enhancing overall guest relations.
  • Utilize POS system
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring each guest has a memorable dining experience.

Requirements

  • Previous host/host or restaurant experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with food service operations is advantageous.
  • Experience with POS systems (spot on) is a plus But will train
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and practices is beneficial.
  • Strong phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
