Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sleep Coach/Store Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional customer service and expert guidance on sleep solutions. This role combines retail management with a focus on helping customers achieve better sleep through personalized consultations and product recommendations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in retail management, and an understanding of sleep products.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Provide personalized sleep consultations to customers, assessing their needs and recommending appropriate products.
  • Manage inventory control, including purchasing, stocking, and merchandising of sleep-related products.
  • Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in customer service and sales techniques.
  • Conduct employee orientation and ongoing training sessions to ensure team members are knowledgeable about products and store policies.
  • Handle payroll and bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Implement effective marketing strategies to drive sales and increase store visibility within the community.
  • Maintain high standards of store presentation through effective merchandising and organization.
  • Utilize POS systems for transactions while ensuring accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and professional growth.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively close sales and resolve customer concerns.
  • Experience in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Proficient in retail math for pricing strategies and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Familiarity with cashiering practices and cash handling protocols.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles to promote store initiatives effectively.
