*Purpose
The Senior Product Development Lead plays a key role in the success of Red Aspen's Product Development team by proactively leading the development and execution of consumable, playful, and compelling products within the
Press-On Nail category*
that inclusively support the businesses of all Red Aspen Brand Ambassadors and Affiliates. This role not only manages end-to-end product lifecycles but also supports strategic initiatives, cross-functional program planning, and vendor collaboration to bring innovative press-on nail products to life — on time and on brand.
The Senior Lead is expected to operate with a high level of independence, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and support department leadership in driving efficiency and excellence across product development workflows.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead press-on nail product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring milestones and timelines are met
- Proactively identify and resolve risks or delays across assigned projects
- Manage and maintain all project documentation, timelines, and communications
- Support planning and prioritization of long-term product roadmap initiatives
- Lead project coordination across departments including Creative, Digital Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Finance
- Strengthen vendor relationships and serve as main point of contact for key partners
- Track product orders, samples, and iterations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Improve and maintain tools, templates, and reports to streamline product development processes
- Mentor, guide, and support team members and cross-functional contributors in achieving project goals
- Communicate updates and changes clearly to internal teams and external partners
- Assist department leadership with strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; advanced coursework or certifications in project management, merchandising, or product development a plus
- 3+ years of relevant experience in project management, product coordination, or product strategy roles
- Proven ability to lead projects and workstreams with minimal oversight, including coordination of cross-functional teams
- Experience leading, mentoring, or guiding team members or cross-functional contributors
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience managing external vendors and partners
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail, time management, and prioritization
- Experience with project management tools, product development systems, and collaborative platforms preferred
