As a Sr. Manager, Ocular Health Pharma Marketing, you will help advance Systane global brand leadership in ocular health by driving the strategic launch of innovative products. You'll work with global and regional teams to evaluate market opportunities and develop marketing strategies for both Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) and consumers. Your responsibilities include creating global marketing assets, leading cross-functional teams, and executing impactful launches that reinforce Systane as the trusted choice in dry eye management, expanding market share, deepening brand awareness, and supporting significant growth worldwide. This position is on-site in Fort Worth, Texas and a typical day will include:

  • Focus on Systane Global product launches, asset development, commercial campaign management and tactical execution, effectively managing cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders from Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Market Access, Regional Commercial Leads, Training, Finance, and Legal teams.
  • Development and deployment of ECP assets and consumer-facing asset creation.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the new product launch, encompassing positioning, messaging, and impactful promotional campaigns.
  • Partnering with external agencies and collaborators to create compelling creative assets and marketing materials that resonate with target audiences.
  • Develop and execute omnichannel marketing strategies, including digital platforms, to enhance HCP and consumer engagement across global markets.
  • Analyze and leverage qualitative and quantitative research to uncover actionable insights and proactively address evolving customer and market trends.
  • Partner with the Research and Insights group to clearly define research paths and business questions that drive value, ensuring the brand is equipped with a deep understanding of insights, unmet needs, and value drivers to support business growth.
  • Strong Brand Equity Management: Champion the stewardship of Systane global brand equity by ensuring consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all ECP and consumer touchpoints.
  • Provide guidance and leadership on Systane Global Brand Identity, supporting global partners to ensure consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all markets and channels.
  • Oversee and coordinate Global Claims and MAP (Medical, Legal, Regulatory Approval Process) approval activities across the Franchise, ensuring all product claims and promotional materials meet global regulatory standards and are aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Support LCM cycle changes across package design, product claims and regulatory updates as needed by the franchise.
  • Partnering with R&D and Strategy teams to align upstream marketing with portfolio prioritization and lifecycle management decisions, ensuring commercial viability and strategic fit.
  • Support TPP execution and ensure alignment with launch messaging and claims.
  • Drive budget planning and allocation, ensuring the optimization of resources to achieve launch objectives efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage the Market Access Manager to develop and implement strategic market access plans for new products to achieve reimbursement, pricing, and commercial objectives.
  • Engage with stakeholders for Adboard support with local and global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to foster product advocacy and establish momentum for the brand.
  • Monitor competitive and regional landscape activity and support mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Competitive Intelligence (CI) team to proactively identify and analyze competitive launches and activities, providing actionable mitigation strategies that enable the organization to remain agile and anticipate competitor moves.
  • Track global KPIs to measure performance, optimize promotional channels, and maximize impact across key tactics.
  • Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization. Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.
  • Ensure Commercial Launch Readiness: Lead global Systane product launches through strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring all elements of commercial readiness are executed effectively across Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial teams.
  • Drive Brand Stewardship & Compliance: Manage global brand equity, lifecycle updates, and cross-regional consistency to elevate brand awareness and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Leverage Insights & Optimize Resources: Collaborate with research teams and external agencies to uncover actionable insights and deliver high-impact creative assets that resonate with HCPs and consumers.
  • Oversee Claims & Regulatory Alignment: Direct global claims and MAP (Medical, Legal, Regulatory Approval Process) activities to ensure all product claims and promotional materials meet regulatory standards and support launch messaging and strategic positioning.

What You'll Bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's in business administration
  • Ocular or pharma Health experience
  • CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Experience
