We're looking for an experienced communications specialist like you, who is ready to share your knowledge and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you'll use your consulting skills and experience to design, develop, and produce a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports Defense Security initiatives with international partners and industry.
As a Strategic Communications Expert, you'll bring your leadership, consulting, strategic communications, Service or Joint headquarters and Security Cooperations knowledge, speech writing, and marketing expertise to work alongside thought leaders in Security Cooperation and Security Assistance on projects for Foreign Military Sales, Acquisition Programs, Industry Cooperation, and Foreign Partner engagement. To bring best value, you will be capable of working with a varied team of civilian, contractor, and military strategic communicators to lead development of top line strategy, planning, and implementation of strategic communications. Messaging will address complex international programs as well as longer term client organization and enterprise transformation. The Team operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision preparation, mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.
As the organizational advisor of all aspects of oral and written communications, you'll oversee and author communications plans and strategy, partner engagement plans, industry and international partner briefings, speeches and talking points, web and social media content, articles and newsletters, and assist with communications policy recommendations. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound with tools like Prezly, Asana, Hootsuite, Adobe, Slack, and Loom.

You Have:
- 4+ years of experience with strategic communications delivery in support of a defense, joint, or military service headquarters
- 2+ years of experience with supporting international cooperation initiatives
- Knowledge of Service Headquarters-level organizations, roles, and missions
- Ability to perform advanced consulting for a senior-level service headquarters organization and executives
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Engineering, or International Affairs
Nice If You Have:
- Experience in Defense Acquisition, Security Cooperation, International Affairs, or Change Management
- Knowledge of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case development and program execution
- Ability to plan and implement strategic communications and partner engagement campaigns
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Strategic Communications or a related field
- Project Management or Business- Data Analytics Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
