Join our professional culinary team at Van Acre, the spirited restaurant within the Hilton Garden Inn Wausau As a Breakfast Cook you will work alongside our talented team to provide a best-in-class dining experience for our guests.

With guidance from the Executive Chef, our Cooks prepare food items in accordance with designated recipes and quality standards, ensuring food leaves the kitchen promptly and in peak condition.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learning restaurant menus

  • Following plating and presentation expectations

  • Practicing correct food handling and storage procedures

  • Preparing and organizing food stations for following shifts

  • Ensuring the kitchen and work areas are always in a clean and sanitary condition.

Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma; additional culinary training is preferred, plus 2-4 years of kitchen and cooking experience, have or obtain nationally recognized food sanitation certification, such as Servsafe or TIPS, be reliable and customer oriented and have the ability to push, pull, carry and lift 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout the shift.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
