About the Team

The Retail Bank Marketing team is expanding, with a focus on delivering outstanding marketing experiences. Critical to this endeavor is the Marketing Technology that powers these experiences. This role, Senior Manager of Product Management for Horizontal MarTech, spearheads a key component of the marketing technology and is essential for achieving the desired marketing outcomes.

This highly collaborative position involves defining horizontal strategies that move the business and customer forward, creating repeatable best practices that all of Bank martech can adopt, and being a central hub for the martech program. The individual will lead a team of product and project managers, working closely with business strategists, designers, marketers, and leaders to connect the strategic and programmatic dots across martech.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

• Experience in marketing or degree in marketing

• Time spent utilizing project management tools and developing project management best practices

• Expertise in program management 

• Deep understanding of use case gathering, analysis and prioritization methodologies

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product ManagementNew York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr. Mgr, Product ManagementWilmington, DE: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
