We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our dynamic financial team This is a seasonal job intended to last until April 15,2026 ( end of tax season 2026).

In this vital role, you will assist clients in preparing and filing their tax returns accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with current tax laws and regulations. Your expertise will help individuals and small businesses navigate complex tax scenarios, maximizing their refunds and minimizing liabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in tax preparation, accounting software, and financial analysis within a supportive and energetic environment.

Duties

  • Prepare individual, business returns
  • Review financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze clients' financial data to identify deductions, credits, and opportunities for tax savings
  • Stay updated on the latest tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to provide accurate advice
  • Assist clients with tax planning strategies and answer questions related to their financial situations
  • Support marketing efforts by promoting our tax services through client outreach and relationship building

Requirements

  • Some experience in tax preparation.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately
  • Strong math skills complemented by proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and marketing strategies to promote services effectively
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
