Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Advanced Physical Therapy & Rehab, located in . In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our physical therapists and providing high-quality patient care that aligns with our commitment to rehabilitation excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
  • Provide direct patient care and support during therapy sessions
  • Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and exercises
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care coordination
  • Uphold clinic standards of safety and professionalism.
  • Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or related field
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience in outpatient settings preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Compassionate approach to patient care
  • Familiarity with discharge planning processes is a plus.
