Child Saving Institute (CSI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to champion what's best for each child and family. We serve children and families across the Omaha metro and Southwest Iowa, providing hope and healing through a wide range of programs and services including early childhood development, behavioral services and other community and home-based family support services.
Position OverviewWe're growing our marketing team CSI is seeking a dynamic, driven and collaborative Marketing Specialist to support internal and external communications, paid advertising and cross-functional marketing initiatives. This role is designed to be flexible and generalist, contributing to campaigns, social media, storytelling and promotional efforts. You'll work closely with a small but mighty team to elevate CSI's visibility and impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement communication strategies that promote CSI's mission, programs and culture.
- Write and edit content for newsletters, blog articles, press releases, email campaigns and donor communications.
- Support internal communications including digital signage and staff newsletters.
- Assist in planning and executing paid advertising campaigns across digital, print and broadcast platforms.
- Create and schedule engaging social media content; assist with video production and photography.
- Update website content and support digital strategy efforts.
- Collaborate with team members on cross-functional projects and campaigns.
- Represent CSI at community events and with media outlets across Omaha and Southwest Iowa.

- Background in communications, marketing or sales.
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations.
- Media relations experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the Omaha metro and Southwest Iowa communities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
