We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to join our Genesis Laser and Vein division. This is an exciting opportunity to assist with all functions essential to the smooth operation of a small clinical office. Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Options for a 2- or 3-day work week.
  • No nights, no weekends.

Job-Specific Competencies for Vein Clinic MA:

  • Provide hands-on patient care.
  • Educate patients during office visits and follow-up calls.
  • Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and RNs with sterile and non-sterile vein procedures.
  • Document accurately in computerized medical records.
  • Assist with insurance authorizations and patient scheduling.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum:
  • 1 year of experience in a medical clinic.
  • Computer literacy required.
Education Requirements
  • Required:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred:
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
