Experienced drivers needed to drive for Independent Contractor delivering for FedEx Home Delivery.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, CAN WORK 1-7 A DAYS This is 7 days a week operation, Sun-Sat 7am until the route is finished. You do not have to commit to 7 days works; it is optional.

FEDEX DRIVER DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hired Employees will be responsible for driving a step van truck. Provide an efficient pick up and delivery service.

Provide support to customers on any issues regarding features of services, while complying with all of the company's operational, security and safety policies.

Deliver and Pick up schedule FedEx packages.

Job requirements for Drivers

1) 3 plus years of driving experience with a box truck, 1 year verifiable.

2) Valid and clean driver's license

3) Meet country's valid work documents

4) Ability to lift at least 70 lbs. and maneuver any single package weighing up to 150 lbs.

5) Fluency in local language and basic knowledge of English, verbal and written, if first language of the country is not English

Candidates must be active and ready to move at a steady pace, this job may seem easy but it takes a lot of energy and effort to go up buildings carrying heavy boxes.

VERY IMPORTANT FOR DRIVERS

  • DMV records: Clean NY State record and Driver License (NJ, PA and CT),
  • No more than 2 moving violations in 12 months,
  • No operating a vehicle while Texting, emailing, or cell phone (No cellphone tickets within past 3 years),
  • No more than 2 accidents.
  • No DWI,

No suspensions or revocations of license, no speeding reckless driving points on license.

*MUST PASS A DRUG TEST TO QUALIFY FOR THE JOB.
