Job Overview

We are seeking a caring and energetic Childcare Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers in providing a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes learning and emotional growth.
  • Support children in daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest periods.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment.

Skills

  • Prior experience in childcare, preschool, or private school settings is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members.
  • Understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Ability to assist in developing engaging and age-appropriate curriculum that meets diverse learning needs.
  • Familiarity with early learning assessments and observation techniques.
  • Skilled in introducing foundational math and literacy concepts through fun and interactive activities.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm for nurturing young learners are key qualities for success in this role.
