Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Optical sales associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with their eyewear needs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a smooth and efficient optical experience. This role requires a strong understanding of optical products, and sales techniques.

Duties

  • Greet and assist patients in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and preferences.
  • Provide detailed information on lens options, frame styles, and fitting adjustments.
  • Perform measurements for eyeglasses, including pupillary distance and segment height.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling patient information.
  • Maintain an organized display of optical products and ensure inventory is stocked appropriately.
  • Process orders for eyewear and manage the fitting process from start to finish.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear technology and retail management practices.

Experience

  • Previous experience in an optical setting or retail sales is preferred.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in a retail environment.
