Job Description:

Summary:

Seeking an advanced undergraduate Research Assistant (RA) or master's RA for the upcoming academic year. The RA will help with data collection for a database on international non-governmental organizations serving women. Some of the associated tasks can be completed remotely, but others will require regular visits to the Library of Congress in downtown DC for approximately eight weeks. No prior research experience is required. The ideal candidate will be organized, able to work independently, and have an interest in women's rights, transnational activism, and/or human rights.

Applications will start being reviewed on Monday, Nov. 17.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-time.

  • 10 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $18.50 per hour.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Current AU student.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • All AU students are eligible to apply for this position, with a preference for those students with a Federal Work Study award.
