Policy Analyst III

Work You'll Do

As a Project Delivery Specialist on the project, you will:

• Analyze operational, contractual, and programmatic activities to inform policy, resource allocation, and decision-making.
• Support the development, review, and improvement of DoD policy, federal regulations, and execution guidance for OCS, VTM, and PSC programs.
• Provide recommendations and technical support for capability development, governance, and integration across joint warfighting functions.
• Conduct research, data analysis, and assessments to evaluate program effectiveness and compliance with established policy and governance standards.
• Draft policy documents, briefings, talking points, and other materials for senior leadership and interagency stakeholders.
• Independently manage tasks, drive actions to completion, and coordinate across multiple organizations to achieve program objectives.
• Support enterprise-wide performance monitoring and reporting to enhance OCS, VTM, and PSC business practices and implementation.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5+ years' experience or Master's degree plus 3+ years' experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be willing to go on-site in Alexandria up to 5 days a week
• Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Top Secret Clearance Required
• 3+ years' experience in defense contracting processes and operational contract support
• 3+ years' experience in researching, evaluating, and interpreting complex operational and policy data

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,800 to $171,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
