The company represents the leading manufacturers in the air distribution industry. Products are promoted to engineers and owners through our staff of engineers and sold to contractors through our experienced sales team.

Position: Inside Sales

The Inside Sales Rep position is vital to the daily operations of our company. This position will be responsible for fielding all inbound calls – for accounts not associated with an Outside Sales Rep. As an Inside Sales Rep you will have the ability to form new relationship with untapped clientele. New customers will have uncapped growth opportunities. The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for quoting, estimating, and job takeoffs as required by office demand as well.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Source new sales leads through inbound calls

  • Understand customer needs and requirements.

  • Close sales and meet sales quota as required by manager.

  • Research accounts, identify keys players, and generate interest.

  • Cold call new customers when 'downtime' allows.

  • Follow up with after-sale support.

  • Assist in takeoffs and estimating plan & spec projects.

  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed from Warehouse Manager

  • Keep personal office area neat and tidy.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Professional attitude and appearance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, on the internet, and ability to learn our ERP program.

  • Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods

  • Comfortable talking on the phone with customer for extended intervals.

  • Desire to be a part of a fast-paced environment.

  • Be able to complete daily tasks and projects with minimal oversight from manager(s)

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Positive "can do" customer service attitude.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma: additional certification(s) in Project Management is a plus.

  • Previous HVAC industry experience is a plus but not required.

  • Speak fluent English.
