We are now taking expressions of interest from US-based candidates with expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud, DevOps & Migration for the position of Principal Consultant.

Responsibilities:

• Function as a leader for technical client engagements. Drive high level design, consultation, maturity assessments and delivery for Azure Cloud & DevOps technology offerings.
• Lead complex client engagements, providing strategic consultation, solution design, and delivery across Azure Cloud, DevOps, and Migration projects.
• Design and implement modern Azure architectures that meet client requirements for scalability, reliability, security, performance, and operational excellence.
• Translate business objectives into effective cloud solutions through consultation with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite and Directors.
• Drive architectural and migration strategy discussions, producing high-quality technical deliverables and reviews as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Partner with Project Leaders to contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery assurance activities.
• Support pre-sales activities by shaping technical documentation, solution proposals, and client presentations.
• Develop and demonstrate proof-of-concepts to validate solution approaches and highlight technology value.
• Conduct workshops, cloud adoption engagements, and maturity assessments to guide clients on their transformation journey.
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities within existing client relationships to extend LAB3's impact.

Required Skills:

• Azure Platform & Architecture: Deep expertise across Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS including enterprise-scale design, enterprise landing zones, governance (Management Groups, Policy, RBAC), and workload modernisation aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
• Migration & Modernisation: Proven experience leading end-to-end workload migrations to Azure using Dr Migrate or Azure Migrate, Azure Landing Zones, and CAF-aligned assessments, covering application, data, and infrastructure migration strategies.
• DevOps & Automation: Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and YAML-based CI/CD automation, with scripting skills in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Python.
• Cloud-Native & Integration: Experience with AKS, Container Apps, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid, and Functions for building scalable, event-driven, and integrated application platforms.
• Security & Identity: Experience with Entra ID (Azure AD), Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, and Purview, with a strong grasp of Zero Trust and cloud security governance principles.
• Data & Infrastructure Operations: Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Backup, and Site Recovery, with experience modernizing Windows, Linux, and hybrid environments (VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Arc).
• Consulting & Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify client opportunities, create reusable templates and automation patterns, and uplift internal accelerators aligned with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework.
