We are seeking a strategic and detail-driven Director of Finance to oversee and elevate our financial operations. As a fast-growing firm in Columbus, we need a trusted financial leader to manage budgets, forecasting, cash flow, and strategic planning while ensuring accuracy and accountability across the organization. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and excited about building scalable financial systems.

Requirements for Team Members:

  • Proven experience in financial leadership, preferably in a service-based or advisory firm
  • Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Knowledge of tax strategy, compliance, and internal controls
  • High proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead financial planning and advise on growth strategy
  • Strong communication and collaboration across departments
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Desire for long-term employment and ability to build efficient systems from the ground up

Responsibilities of this Role:

  • Own all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with leadership on business planning and growth initiatives
  • Oversee cash flow management and optimize capital allocation
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and compliance with tax laws
  • Lead financial audits and manage relationships with external accounting partners
  • Implement scalable processes for tracking expenses, revenue, and KPIs
  • Support hiring and departmental budgeting decisions with financial clarity
  • Build and manage a small internal finance team as the firm grows

Pay: $70, $120,000.00 per year
