Mount Indie is seeking a Red Hat Certified Specialist in SELinux Policy Administration (Senior Consultant) to support a DoD client in Ridgecrest, California. This hybrid role involves working closely with a federal client to enhance system security and compliance within confidential computing environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SELinux policy administration, Confidential Containers (COCO), and the Compliance Operator, ensuring secure and compliant system operations across Red Hat environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Configure, manage, and optimize SELinux policies across Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Confidential Computing and Confidential Containers (COCO) to improve data protection in trusted execution environments.
  • Implement and maintain the Compliance Operator to automate compliance checks and reporting.
  • Collaborate with client security and operations teams to ensure alignment with federal security standards.
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation, troubleshooting guidance, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Support hybrid on-site and remote collaboration with Ridgecrest-based teams.

Requirements:

Hands-on experience with:

  • Confidential Computing
  • Confidential Containers (COCO)
  • Compliance Operator
  • Strong understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux security configurations and best practices.
  • U.S. Citizenship required (due to federal contract requirements).
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred:

  • Active Red Hat Certified Specialist in SELinux Policy Administration certification
