Job Purpose:

The Scanning and Inventory Specialist at GOOD EARTH MARKETS is responsible for ensuring that all store pricing and signage are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company and legal standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of pricing information and supporting the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate pricing on shelves and registers to ensure customers are charged correctly.

Process invoices and verify pricing to maintain consistency and accuracy across all platforms.
-
Print and post shelf tags and sale signs, ensuring all promotional materials are current and visible.
-
Manage weekly/monthly price change projects, coordinating with relevant departments to implement changes smoothly.
-
Organize and maintain perpetual inventory in freight and on shelves, ensuring stock levels are accurate and up-to-date.
-
Conduct regular aisle scans to verify the correct pricing of merchandise throughout the store.
-
Maintain awareness of the impact on quality control, tag integrity, and freight management.
-
Gain knowledge of product and department locations to assist guests with inquiries efficiently.
-
Stand for long periods and perform tasks that require repetitive lifting and bending.
-
Perform light janitorial tasks and other duties as needed to support store operations.

Full-time, average 38 hours a week, Monday - Friday availability, occasional weekends

$17 - $19/hour, DOE
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to drive results with minimal direction while providing maximum feedback.
