This role will join a high-performing team responsible for overseeing all Customer Insights activities for Immunology Nasal Polyps and Eosinophilic Esophagitis and will partner with and serve as a strategic advisor for the Immunology Commercial Business Unit (CBU) stakeholders to inform business decisions. The individual will require a strong understanding of how and when to use specific market research methodologies to drive a high-resolution and up-to-date market understanding, to inform commercial strategy and brand planning.This Role Might Be For You If You Can/haveLeadLead market research plans and individual projects that inform business decisions for Immunology (Nasal Polyps and Eosinophilic Esophagitis), including U.S./global and HCP/patient initiativesDevelopDevelop innovative Customer Insights plans that align with strategic imperatives for Immunology (Nasal Polyps and Eosinophilic Esophagitis), demonstrating an ability to translate insights gaps into key business questions and inform the optimal research approachProactively recommend studies that inform critical brand decision-points and address brand opportunities and challengesPartnership and collaborationDevelop and maintain a mutually beneficial partnership with stakeholders across Immunology (Nasal Polyps and Eosinophilic Esophagitis) CBU and CSI&A; strike a balance between project rigor, timelines and ability to influence decisionsManage market research suppliers to design, scope, execute and analyze research results and develop business implicationsCollaborate with the Immunology (Nasal Polyps and Eosinophilic Esophagitis) CBU, and CSI&A colleagues to influence data capabilities and stay informed on the market landscape and competitive outlookWork closely with Advanced Analytics partners to effectively measure brand performance via secondary data sources; address related questions from senior leadershipExecuteDemonstrate proficiency and drive continuous improvement in primary research designs and analysis (qualitative and quantitative), and develop customized innovative research solutions to address complex strategic business issuesManage all primary research in accordance with internal compliance policies and best practices, with agreed upon preferred vendorsRecommend reasonable, evidence driven business-building ideas, while encouraging the use of customer and market insights to inform strategic business decisionsEstablish, manage and share outcomes from plans that measure and track performance against critical success factorsSynthesize insights and analyses from a variety of sources (marketing research, competitive intelligence, secondary data) to inform strategic choices and decisions; develop and present findings to business teams and senior managementConsolidate and integrate a variety of data and information into actionable and differentiating insights that identify business opportunities/strategies, keeping in mind portfolio implicationsCreate compelling presentations that communicate complex insights in a manner that is easily understood and actioned uponRecommend reasonable, evidence driven business-building ideas, while encouraging the use of customer and market insights to inform strategic business decisionsTo be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following:Minimum BA/BS with 10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience (or MBA/MS with 7+ years), in roles of increasing accountability; prior experience with market-leading brands required and immunology-specific experience is desiredDemonstrated success in using market research to inform and influence important business decisionsExperience in survey design, data analysis (including secondary data), managing suppliers, presenting results, and recommending courses of action supported by research findingsExperience in biologic drugs and in immunology (required)Experience in cross-functional communication and consensus buildingStrong technical understanding of marketing research methodologies and deep knowledge and experience across multiple complex research toolsStrong understanding of data sources and nomenclatures in the product development environmentDemonstrated knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment, as it relates to commercialization in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industryDemonstrated flexibility, leadership, influence and emotional intelligence in working across stakeholdersExtensive experience with managing numerous projects concurrently against stringent deadlines in a fast-paced, timeline-driven atmosphereStrong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilityConcise and impactful written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated experience in influencing and driving decision makingExpertise in data visualization and data storytelling of market research findingsPrior experience working in an Alliance partnerships preferredDoes this sound like you?
