Preferred Care is looking for candidate who has worked with children with high behavioral needs.

-At least 2-3 years of experience working directly with children or youth who have emotional, developmental, or behavioral challenges.

-Proven ability to implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) and apply positive behavior support (PBS) strategies.

-Demonstrated success in managing and de-escalating aggressive or self-injurious behaviors using evidence-based approaches.

-Experience providing 1:1 support in structured environments such as residential programs, treatment homes, or behavioral respite settings.

-Skilled in identifying triggers and early warning signs of escalation and applying proactive interventions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
