Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Communications Manager to lead our integrated marketing and PR efforts in the datacenter cooling industry. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with analysts and media, crafting compelling narratives, and driving social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. The ideal candidate will excel in PR, analyst relations, and social media management, with hands-on experience in datacenter cooling to navigate key industry players and trends. You will manage a small team of 1-2 members, collaborate with the global marketing team to support key stakeholders worldwide, and partner with HR on internal communications and employer branding, contributing to our overall marketing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- PR and Media Relations
: Develop and execute public relations strategies, including press releases, media pitches, and crisis communications to secure positive coverage and manage brand reputation. - Analyst Relations
: Cultivate relationships with industry analysts, influencers, and thought leaders; prepare briefing materials, coordinate briefings, and track analyst reports to influence market perceptions and positioning. - Social Media Management
: Oversee social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook), create content calendars, manage campaigns, monitor engagement metrics, and analyze performance to optimize reach and ROI. - Content and Campaign Development
: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the global marketing team to produce marketing collateral, thought leadership content, and integrated campaigns that align with business goals, leveraging datacenter cooling expertise. - Stakeholder Engagement
: Act as the primary point of contact for external communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels, with a focus on key datacenter cooling players, ecosystem partners, and global stakeholders. - Global Collaboration
: Partner with the global marketing team to support key stakeholders worldwide, including localized campaigns, cross-regional alignment, and sharing best practices for international PR and social initiatives. - Internal Communications and Employer Branding
: Work closely with HR to develop and manage internal communication strategies, employee newsletters, town halls, and employer branding initiatives to foster a strong company culture, attract top talent, and enhance employee engagement. - Team Management
: Lead and mentor 1-2 team members, providing guidance on PR, social media, analyst initiatives, and internal communications; delegate tasks, conduct performance reviews, and foster professional development. - Metrics and Reporting
: Track KPIs such as media impressions, social engagement rates, sentiment analysis, analyst feedback, and internal communication effectiveness; prepare reports and insights to inform strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, with proven expertise in PR, analyst relations, social media management, and internal communications.
- Strong understanding of digital tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Cision) and social platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in media outreach, stakeholder management, and employee-facing content.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience managing small teams or direct reports.
- Comfort working across time zones and cultures for global collaboration.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in the datacenter cooling space, including deep knowledge of key players (e.g., liquid cooling providers, hyperscalers, and industry standards), market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Certification in digital marketing, PR, or social media (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot).
- Experience in tech or infrastructure sectors with a track record of successful analyst engagements (e.g., Gartner, Forrester).
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and data visualization for reporting.
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and influencer marketing.
- Prior experience collaborating with global teams or supporting international markets.
