Hostess Cashier

Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, seating guests, and processing transactions efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize guest flow.
• Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Provide information about menu items and daily specials to guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Uphold high standards of guest relations and hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Requirements

• Previous host/host or restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) is a plus.
• Experience in food service or hotel environments is desirable.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective guest interactions.
