Overview

We are seeking a Product Development Professional (PdM Professional) to join our Product

Management organization on a 12-month contract-to-hire basis. This position focuses on

the Professional level and is ideal for someone who combines strong product management

fundamentals with curiosity, analytical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Experience within the retirement or pension benefits industry is preferred, but not required.

The successful candidate will contribute to digital transformation initiatives—including

analytics platform adoption and AI tool deployment—supporting business process

improvements and user experience enhancements.

Organization Structure

This position resides within a Product Development organization composed of four teams:


• Design


• Capabilities


• Systems


• Quality Control (QC)

Each team includes three PdM levels: Professional, Supervisor, and Manager.

This posting specifically targets the Professional role.

Key Responsibilities

Core Product Development


• Support the definition, planning, and execution of product initiatives within one of

the four Product Development teams.


• Translate business needs into actionable product requirements, features, or

workflows.


• Collaborate with design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to

deliver impactful solutions.


• Apply standard product development and project management practices

appropriate to the team's domain.


• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help ensure alignment with

organizational goals.

Reporting & Analytics


• Research, assess, and support the implementation of reporting and analytics

platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).


• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, evaluate vendor

options, and assist in procurement and rollout activities.


• Help establish data visualization standards and best practices to enable better

decision-making across the organization.

AI Opportunities & Deployment


• Research and evaluate emerging AI tools and platforms relevant to the retirement

benefits domain.


• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI use cases that improve

operational efficiency, customer experience, and product innovation.


• Support pilot programs and coordinate with technical teams to assess outcomes

and scalability.

Qualifications

Education & Basic Knowledge


• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) required.


• Familiarity with core concepts in the relevant domain (e.g., audits/compliance for

QC, digital workflows for Capabilities, UX methods for Design, or scripting and

environment management for Systems).

Progressive Expertise by Level


• Professionals are expected to demonstrate strong analytical and facilitation skills

with growing independence.


• Senior professionals (PDP4) will bring advanced knowledge of their specialty and

may mentor peers.

Communication & Organization


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to convey technical or business concepts clearly to diverse audiences.


• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects

in a remote environment.

Skills

Core Technical Skills


• Apply product development principles, project management practices, and tools

relevant to your team's domain.


• Examples by team:

o Design: User-centered design, prototyping, UX research, accessibility, and

Figma.

o Capabilities: Process documentation, requirements gathering, enablement

content creation, and pilot support.

o Systems: CI/CD pipelines, scripting, environment configuration, release

management, and monitoring.

o Quality Control: Validation, testing, audit compliance, and KPI tracking.

Communication & Teamwork


• Collaborate effectively across disciplines.


• Produce clear documentation and support consensus-building and decision-

making.

Use of Tools & Innovation


• Proficiency in standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Jira,

Confluence, Miro).


• Openness to leveraging AI, analytics platforms, and automation tools to improve

processes and business performance.

Domain Experience


• Experience in pension administration or retirement benefits is preferred but not

required.


• Candidates without prior domain experience will receive targeted on-the-job

training.


• Strong product development fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly are

essential.
