Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients across various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
  • Perform procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care.
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.

Skills

Candidates should possess a variety of skills that enhance their nursing practice, including but not limited to:

  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
  • Experience in critical care settings, including ICU or emergency medicine.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
  • Skills in patient assessment, triage, and acute pain management.
  • Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) and medical documentation practices.
  • Experience with specialized treatments such as botulinum toxin treatment or esthetic laser treatment.
  • Competence in managing patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes or heart disease.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and families.
