Position Overview

As a Mammography Tech, youll be a vital part of a collaborative healthcare team, providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while supporting patients with compassion and professionalism. Your role will help ensure accurate diagnoses and support early intervention efforts in breast cancer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality mammography exams in compliance with radiation safety protocols

  • Accurately position patients and explain procedures with empathy and clarity

  • Ensure proper documentation and data entry into patient records

  • Perform quality assurance testing and assist with accreditation processes (e.g., ACR)

  • Respond to emergency situations and report incidents as needed

  • Actively promote safety, compliance, and organizational values

  • Serve as a resource and mentor to junior technologists

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology and Mammography Technology program

Current Texas Medical Board MRT license or temporary license

Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R)

Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT-M)

Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS or ALS)

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in an outpatient imaging center

  • Prior work as a Mammography Technologist
