Key Responsibilities
FLISR Scheme Development
· Validate device settings for reclosers, voltage regulators, and capacitor banks.
· Translate operational overviews into detailed FLISR design artifacts.
Programming & Testing
· Program Orion FLISR logic per approved operational documents.
· Execute functional testing using standardized job aids and reference manuals.
· Document and validate results in FLISR Functional Testing Worksheets.
Commissioning Support
· Participate in commissioning activities; ensure readiness for load across multiple projects.
· Coordinate with field crews, PTO, and telecom teams to complete FDAR workflows and required database updates.
Documentation & Compliance
· Follow engineering procedures for FLISR design and implementation.
· Maintain accurate records of device configurations, test outcomes, and commissioning milestones.
Collaboration & Communication
· Attend scope reviews with Planning, ADMS, and Grid Modernization teams.
· Provide technical updates during DC&I Engineering Hub and FLISR alignment calls.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
· 3+ years in distribution automation, protection engineering, or SCADA systems.
· Proficiency with DNP3 and MODBUS protocols.
· Familiarity with ADMS, EMS, and SCADA environments.
· Strong documentation, testing discipline, and version-controlled recordkeeping.
· Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
