Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with a strong background in various bodywork techniques. This role involves repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Perform body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
  • Utilize welding techniques to repair or fabricate metal components as needed.
  • Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Apply airless paint spraying methods for finishing touches on repaired areas.
  • Detail vehicles post-repair to ensure a polished appearance for customers.
  • Engage in auto restoration projects, bringing classic vehicles back to life.
  • Handle auto glass replacement and repairs with precision.
  • Prepare accurate auto estimating reports for repair costs and timelines.
  • Operate power tools safely and effectively during the repair process.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in the automotive industry is preferred.
  • Strong skills in welding, vehicle maintenance, airless paint spraying, and fabrication techniques are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with auto restoration processes and auto glass repair is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess vehicle damage accurately and efficiently.
