About the Role
Our client is adding a Treasury Specialist to their team to manage day-to-day cash operations and payment processing. You'll take ownership of cash management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all Treasury activities. You'll identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance reporting, and strengthen controls, while partnering closely with leadership on initiatives that shape strategy and drive impact. Your work will directly influence financial decisions, optimize liquidity, and support the organization's strategic priorities.
What You'll Own
Process and approve payments, including wires and stop payments, and manage daily cash positioning and liquidity
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance Treasury operations
Monitor Positive Pay and ACH exceptions across all accounts to ensure accuracy and mitigate risk
Manage bank accounts and reconcile discrepancies across ERP and A/P platforms
Maintain payment templates, bank file imports, and online banking access, ensuring proper verification and compliance
Administer corporate credit card program, including onboarding, reporting, and user management
Support audits, SOX compliance, and internal inquiries related to Treasury activities
Track and audit letters of credit and maintain Treasury business continuity documentation
What Sets You Apart
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Related experience in treasury and cash management, ideally in a publicly traded space
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and large ERP accounting systems
Communicates complex treasury and accounting data clearly to executive leadership and banking partners, driving timely and informed decisions
