POSITION DESCRIPTION
Supervises the engineering activity (all disciplines) on a project, or designated portions of a project, for a global business unit. Plans and directs engineering assignments on the project. Demonstrates technical responsibilities for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating these assignments.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Project Engineer II – Position typically requires a BS and 5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project Engineer III – Position typically requires a BS and 8+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project Engineer IV – Position typically requires a BS and 12+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance.
- Ability to work onsite.
- Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening in accordance with Federal requirements (details below),
- Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Active DOE Q clearance.
LOCATION
- The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. .
- Initial 2 year assignment. Looking for long-term commitment. Possibility of conversion.
- 4/10 schedule Shift work required.
- Per-Diem eligible.
- TA-55 – not all work will be behind the fence in secure areas.
